Emojis
Add personality and emotion to your digital signage with emojis. Quickly insert popular emojis, resize them, rotate, and place them anywhere to make your content more engaging and relatable.
The Emojis feature in Play Digital Signage lets you easily add emojis to your slides to express feelings, highlight messages, or make your content more visually appealing and human.
Emojis are especially useful for schools, retail, restaurants, churches, or any environment where a friendly and emotional tone helps connect with your audience.
Add an emoji
- Go to Playlists
- Open your playlist, find your slide
- Click Shapes
- Click Emoji
- In settings on the right, click Emoji
- Search or scroll through the emojis and click the one you like
Having added an Emoji you can move it around, scale it, rotate it and much more.
Remove an emoji
- Go to Playlists
- Open your playlist, find your slide
- Click the emoji
- Click Remove or hit backspace on your keyboard
Pick another emoji
- Go to Playlists
- Open your playlist, find your slide
- Click the emoji on the canvas
- In settings, click Emoji
- Search or scroll through the emojis and click the one you like
Emoji appearance can vary slightly depending on the operating system of your media player (Android, Windows, etc.).
When you click Emoji, a default emoji will be added to your content. You can change the emoji on the right in settings.
- Alignment – Maximize, left, center, right, top, middle, and lock
- Emoji – Pick your emoji
- Layer – Move your icon up or down layers
- Rotate – Rotate your icon
- Positioning – Manually adjust the placement of your icon pixel by pixel
Note, the used Emoji’s can look different depending on the player’s operating system.
Can I lock the position of an emoji?
You can lock any object you have in your content. Locking an object ensures that the object stays where it’s supposed to be and can not be resized or removed. Read more about Locking Objects.
Why does the emoji look different on the TV than in the editor?
